Residence Hall Association (RHA)

Residence Hall Association is the largest student organization on campus, serving all of the residence hall students in both Petro and Rimrock Hall.  RHA’s main focus is social and educational programming for residents, providing ample opportunities for interaction and involvement.  The RHA Executive Board, consisting of ten to fifteen selected/paid positions is the governing body of RHA.

The Executive Board’s role is to plan, organize, and facilitate events; make decisions regarding student services funded by the resident social fee; and be a voice for residents who have concerns/suggestions relating to the overall operation of the University.

Each week RHA holds a Sunday Social in Petro Hall for all residence hall students, which consists of formal peer recognition for significant  achievements or assistance with residence hall functions, announcements regarding upcoming events and fundraisers, opportunities to join a planning committee, and a chance interact with friends.

Anyone is welcome to join RHA and help with the facilitation of a program and applications for Executive Board Positions are available twice annually.

RHA is a wonderful way to get involved with campus activities, meet new people, network with administration, and hone important transferable skills…not to mention it is a lot of fun!
